LET'S CELEBRATE WOMEN WHO ARE ROLE MODELS FOR NEW WAYS OF WORKING AND LIVING.
The Top 25 Women Redefining Success™ are women who are on a path that is considered by many to be “non-traditional.” Corporate leaders, entrepreneurs, professionals at all levels – this award is for women who are creating a new era in making flexible career strategies work for themselves and for others. These women are admired and respected by their peers, colleagues and families for how they have designed their life to include both a career and a family.
We recently found a wonderful excerpt from Anna Quindlen when she spoke about what the purpose of the women’s movement was, and challenged women to redefine their own success. Essentially she questioned -- was success to be just like men in corner offices, with executive washrooms and fat retainers? Or was it, as women, to determine for ourselves what success is, what it means to forge our own work/life blend and change the world in our own way? See for yourself here.
The awards were given in front of our 600 person sold-out event "New Formulas For Success" in San Francisco on October 18th that was lead by keynote Leslie Morgan Steiner from the Washington Post.
Congratulations to 2007’s awardees (click on any name to learn more!)
