Quotes from attendees at our October event:
“I loved the frank girl talk about real issues relevant to motherhood and being a working mother. I got a lump in my throat just as the talks were starting! It was as though I suddenly realized that it was going to be ok to talk about issues I had been brushing aside and not articulating. I love your focus on keeping positive and finding the humor.”
“I liked the diversity of the panelists' experiences because it showed that there is no one right way. The ‘right’ thing can be unique to each individual.”
“Very good cross section of panelists-- loved the age, talent and physical diversity of the ‘players’ --- most of them were very accessible and to our benefit, seemed quite comfortable in their own skin, which I think is a vital characteristic to be successful in the Mommy Track.”
“It was such a great event! I loved seeing and meeting all the great working women. I loved to hear about all the different type of work situations that everyone had to balance their lives.”
“The panel was fantastic and the event was well organized. It was wonderful to listen to the experiences of such accomplished women. The gift bags were fantastic!”
“It was amazing to sit in a room with 600 other people facing the same challenges I face on a daily basis.”
“I found it inspiring and comforting to know that so many women are going through the same challenges. It is especially comforting to know that no one person seems to believe they have mastered the balance. Yet, there are so many women who are willing to share their experiences to help others get somewhat closer.”
