JENNIFER LEBLANC

Principal, ThinkResults Marketing Inc.

Words of Wisdom: Be living proof that success and balance are not mutually exclusive.

In 2003, Jennifer founded her company on the belief that she was not the only one who wanted a challenging job that did not involve selling her soul to a corporation. That belief led to her vision that she could create a place for herself and also for other talented folks who were “opting out” or taking jobs they were overqualified for in order to get flexibility. Jennifer wanted a place where people could do fantastic creative and challenging work – and still make it to the school play! In addition to her investment in the success of other marketing professionals, Jennifer has done significant pro bono work in her community serving on the Wardrobe for Opportunity Board of Directors as the Chair of Marketing and PR and she currently serves on the WFO Advisory Board. Jennifer is so committed to flexible work that “one of the goals on my business plan, right alongside the revenue goals is ‘Be living proof that success and balance are not mutually exclusive.’ It is possible if you believe that and keep that in your mind daily. Knowing that I have committed to that goal as an example for my daughter and for other women helps me when doing it for myself is not inspiration enough!” Her nominee wrote that “Jennifer has inspired me and so many others to reach beyond the traditional boundaries of what we thought ‘work’ had to be.”
