JENNY LUNDBERG

Regional Group Manager, Implementation Services MBS Americas, SAP

Words of Wisdom: The most important things for women today is that they make a decision that works for them and then stick to it -- independent of feedback from others.

As soon as Jenny knew she was pregnant, she asked to get onto a flexible schedule after her maternity leave. She went down to four days a week, which gave her Fridays off.  For the last three and a half years she has been working on a reduced schedule returning to full time this October now that her daughter is in school. Jennifer has been a mentor for other women internally and externally and has been able to encourage them and demonstrate that it is possible to balance family and career. She also believes that managing kids can actually be very good for their future career skills, especially when it comes to management. Jennifer was recently promoted from managing people to managing teams. One co-worker said she “was immediately inspired by her dedication to the development of her people--one of her first comments to me was how she wants her people to succeed, even if that means they are promoted out of her department.”
